Online payment

The matos.hu online store accepts credit card and cash payments for orders placed using credit cards or cash on delivery.

When paying by credit card, you will be redirected to the K&H Bank VPOS payment page, where you can pay with your credit card using the most secure, encrypted transaction method currently available. All our customers need to do is select the “Credit card” payment method when choosing their payment method, then enter their card number, expiry date and three-digit security code on the K&H Bank VPOS payment page. You can pay with VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, and Maestro bank cards, provided that your card issuer has enabled online payments for your card. Our online store does not store your card details.

We are unable to fulfill orders placed in the matos.hu webshop with a foreign shipping address. For information on the terms and costs of ordering to a foreign country, please contact our staff at +36 30 300 5116 or info@matos.hu.

Refunds

If, for any reason, it is necessary to refund the full or partial amount of a credit card transaction to the Buyer, we will do so through the K&H Bank VPOS system.

ABOUT OUR PARCEL DELIVERY SYSTEM

There are no deliveries on weekends and public holidays.

For home delivery, please provide a delivery address in the customer details where you can receive the shipment during the day on the specified delivery date, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., at the expected delivery time indicated in advance by the courier service.

Please provide a phone number where you can be reached during the day by either our company or the courier service staff in order to deal with any issues that may arise in connection with the package.

Shipping fees

Shipping fees include 27% VAT.

Home delivery:

• GLS parcel point, prepayment: 1290 HUF
• GLS home delivery, prepayment: 1990 HUF
• GLS home delivery, cash on delivery: 2300 HUF
• MPL parcel machine, Postapont, prepayment: 2500 HUF
• MPL home delivery, prepayment: 3500 HUF
• MPL home delivery, cash on delivery: 3800 HUF

Payment options for cash on delivery: cash or credit card payment.

GLS

We can deliver your order to the requested address within 2-3 business days using the GLS courier service.

The GLS courier service will notify you by email that your package has been prepared.

For home deliveries, GLS will send you an email notification on the morning of the delivery date, which will include the courier’s and customer service’s phone numbers, the cash on delivery amount (if applicable), and an SMS notification of the expected delivery time within a 3-hour time window.

If the delivery attempt is unsuccessful, you will receive an email notification from GLS, and you can request a new delivery date via the link in the email.

IMPORTANT! In the case of home delivery, the courier service will attempt delivery twice, after which it will return the package to the sender.

MPL (Magyar Posta Logisztika ZRt.)

In the case of home delivery, the Post Office will attempt to deliver the item to the address once. If delivery is unsuccessful, MPL will send a notification and the package can be collected from the post office specified in the notification within 10 working days.

In the case of parcel points and parcels remaining at the post office, they can be collected for 5 days from the day following the date of arrival.
